Deluxe Plugins (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the DP Contracts plugin.

2. Information We Collect

  • User ID: A unique identifier generated by the plugin to manage user-specific data.
  • License Key: Information related to your plugin license to verify premium features.
  • API Key: Information related to your API usage.
  • Contract Information: Data related to contracts generated, including company information and client information. This data is used solely for the purpose of generating contracts and is not stored on our servers.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the plugin, including log data and usage statistics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To Verify Licenses: To verify your license key and enable premium features.
  • To Generate Contracts: To process and generate contracts as part of the plugin’s functionality. Contract information is temporarily sent to our server to generate the contract and is deleted immediately after the PDF is sent back to the client server.
  • To Improve Our Services: To understand how our plugin is used and to make improvements.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties, except as described below:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting and server maintenance. These service providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks and are obligated to protect it.

5. Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All data transmitted to and from our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Contract information is not stored on our servers and is deleted immediately after the PDF is sent back to the client server. Authorized personnel do not have access to this data.

6. Data Retention

We do not retain your personal information. Contract information is processed in real-time and deleted immediately after use.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not hold any personal information, there are no specific rights related to access, correction, or deletion of personal data with respect to the DP Contracts plugin. Other than the User ID, License Key, API Key, and any other activity that is directly regarding the plugin usage, the data collected by the plugin, such as Contract Information, is used solely for operational purposes and is not stored on our servers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Consent

By using the WP Contracts plugin, you consent to this Privacy Policy.

10. Store Accounts and Google Sign-In

The statements above about contract information apply specifically to the DP Contracts plugin. When you create or use a Deluxe Plugins store account, we retain the account, order, licensing, and support information needed to provide the store and purchased services.

Pages that display “Continue with Google” load Google Identity Services. As a result, your browser connects to Google and may send technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and Google cookies before you use the button. This processing is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

If you continue with Google, Google provides us with a stable account identifier, your verified email address, and your profile name. We use this information only to create, connect, and authenticate your Deluxe Plugins customer account. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your other Google data. We retain the linked identifier while the connection or account remains active. You may ask us to remove the Google connection through our published contact options.
