Requirements

WordPress 6.5 or newer, PHP 8.0 or newer and OpenSSL for encrypted SMTP credentials. Verified release environment: WordPress 7.1 and PHP 8.3.30.

Release checks: WordPress 7.1 · PHP 8.3.30. WooCommerce-dependent workflows checked with WooCommerce 11.1.0. This is not a guarantee for every theme or extension.

Scope & important limits

SMTP acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery. Your provider may charge separately. OAuth mailbox login, bounce webhooks, open tracking, message-body archives and a resend queue are not included. Provider-specific deliverability must be tested with your own account.
