Getting started
Download the ZIP above, open Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, install and activate. Open Mail Sentinel and begin in monitor-only mode. Configure SMTP only if needed, send a test to an address you control and verify inbox receipt.
Requirements
WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.0+ and OpenSSL for encrypted SMTP credentials.
When to upgrade
The separate paid edition adds failure alerts, signed HTTPS integrations and scheduled aggregate agency reports. Shared settings and data carry across. Existing customers retain their promised paid features.
Updates and privacy
Version 1.0.1. This direct-download Free edition uses manual ZIP replacement for updates and has not been submitted to WordPress.org. Back up first; do not uninstall to update. No plugin telemetry is included. Email and waitlist features use your own WordPress mail transport; provider costs and inbox delivery are separate. WordPress cron must run for background jobs.
